Retiring Premier Support
Important update for the perpetual license agreement. Going forward, we are discontinuing the premier support add-on for new perpetual licenses.
What does this mean?
The purchase of the perpetual license still comes with a twelve (12)-month free program update and premier support, but after that time, we are no longer offering auto-renewal of this service.
Why this change?
We listened to customer feedback and found that automatic premier support fees came as a surprise to many NumXL license holders. We recognize that recurring support fees are somewhat uncommon in the industry and may lead to confusion if customers do not expect them. We also found that larger customers with multiple licenses preferred to opt for maintenance agreements other than premier support.
With this in mind, we decided to drop the auto-renewal of premier support to meet customer expectations, avoid surprises, and meet market conventions.
