We’ve heard a few questions from many of our users about the new 7-day grace period offered with our latest NumXL release. Simply put, you can now run a full version of NumXL immediately for seven days, no license key required. Don’t worry about entering a subscription key; all you need to do is open Excel and start using the Pro/Full mode of NumXL. Like what you see? After seven days you can keep working in Full mode by starting a free 30-day trial, or by downloading an annual or perpetual license key if you’re full on board. Also, be sure to check out the NumXL release notes for more details on the newest features.

As of NumXL version 1.69, NumXL will run in lite mode for expired or missing license keys. You can still use most NumXL functions in the lite mode but with a limited dataset size (25 obs.).

My NumXL has installed and available on Excel task bar but it’s inactive, how can I activate it free of charge?
The free trial version without the license key isn’t allowing me to complete the installation purpose. In addition, the license key is not available at all. What Sham is this? How is one supposed to test the abilities of the trial version before purchasing? I would choose not to buy it altogether and would look for other options. What a waste of time!
No, you don’t need the license key to finish the installation. Is the installation failing, or are you getting confused because the license manager pops up at the end? The license manager allow you to request a free trial license, but if choose to not request a free trial license, NumXL will run in lite mode.
